It’s close to a new year and nothing beats a fresh start. I love , opening my planner to its fresh pages and my Goal pages for all my new goals.
I know I’ve posted plenty on going full-throtle on your dreams…
But what if you don’t feel like setting goals; if your season in life has you, well, less than inspired? When those happy goal-setter people almost make you mad!
There is no doubt that in order to live by your dreams and goals, you need to be inspired; to dream.
I have been in these kinds of seasons. Whether pregnancy sickness, hard relationship issues, health issues with our loved ones, or just a time where I’m off, I don’t feel like being a dreamer, writing and scripting my dreams and goals.
Let’s face it. We need to be inspired, feeling good; happy.
I’m here to encourage you to understand it is a season; and to keep it a season. Your goals in this time should be to allow yourself to feel this way and then move into scripting your steps to move forward into the land of goal-setting and dreaming again.
God can use this time for us to show us we need him. It’s these times when I’ve learned the most for allowing myself to completely depend on God and the importance for forever surrendering to Him; giving up my control. To never depend on my natural-self again.
This has been hard for me.
My biggest weakness is depending on me, thinking I can do it all by myself. Researching cures to an illness until my eyes bleed, endless nights figuring and trying to fix relationships on my own accord, obsessing over my family’s diet on eating the right foods all the time, freaking out when it doesn’t happen.
God has shown me I cannot live on my own accord, if I want to live a life that is full, at peace, amazing, and full of blessing and favor and miracles!
Whatever you do, do not act like a life of dreaming and living a full life is not for you; that you could never be that kind of woman.
These are lies!
If you are telling yourself you are too sick, will never be better or happy, and it’s too much work to live a life like a dreamer, you are throwing in the towel on your life!
We are all created from the same God and He has big plans for you! He wants you well and happy. He wants the very best for you.
Satan loves mediocrity; when we throw in the towel and settle for a second-rate life.
If you are in a season that makes dreaming and goal-setting almost impossible, allow yourself to feel it, to use this time to grow from the experience, rest, get the help you need, do the work needed to get out, and maybe learn for the first time that you need God and always have. He’s waiting…
Being a life planner with a full-life is not for the chosen few.
It’s for everyone, including you!
Hugs to all my friends…
