Thanks so much for the great video tip. I went out and bought myself a few pairs of those really cute rubber gloves with the feathers and bling on the tops and a couple scented candles that have different phases for each of my bathrooms. Then when I go up there to clean, I light the candles and put on my gloves with the radio on upstairs with cheerful tunes and it all helps. Especially the great candle smells. Nothing grosses me out more than gross bathroom smells!

I wanted to ask your help with a problem. With lots of kids you must have come across it and I wondered how you deal with it. No matter how many times I wash my husband's shirts, I'll take them out of the dryer and the armpits still smell. Then when he wears them and the armpits warm up they smell even worse even if he wears deodorant. How can I get rid of the pong for good? I don't want to have to throw away good work shirts (button down office shirts) because of this. Any help would really really be appreciated.

Well, Though I've never had that particular problem, my husband always had the yellowing problem on his shirt's underarms. He changed out his antiperspirant to just a deodorant and that solved that problem.

But I do know that putting in 1/4 cup white vinegar in with your wash along with your detergent takes smells out of clothes.

    Give that-a-go!

Just another suggestion for the smells is to use 1/2 cup of Arm and Hammer Washing Soda in with the detergent. Works like a charm!

Thanks ladies. I'm in the UK so haven't seen Arm and Hammer washing soda but I'll give the vinegar a go and see how it comes out. I'm getting a little desperate since we got him 7 new work shirts last august and they are still in very good condition except for the odour!

Hi, re smells. If you place a couple of drops of clove oil in with your wash it gets rids of smells. I once left a load of washing in the machine and forgot it and when I went to hang it out it stunk! I washed it a few times and it made no difference it still smelt but then I added a couple of drops clove oil and it was gone! Clove oil is also good for getting rid of bacteria. Regards
