The zoo is a wonderful place to draw and learn. Even when it’s cold outside, you can go into the warm buildings such as an aquarium, or the jungle to sit and watch, draw and learn about all the animals.
Today, we packed snacks, colored pencils and our drawing pads and went for a field trip. We sat with our legs crossed and drew the whole afternoon. We wrote the name of our specimens at the top of each page so we could further learn about the animals at home.
This was a fun day and the kids and I drew a lot of beautiful pictures. Try a drawing day at your local zoo or aquarium…your children will love it!
