Organize 2011…Organizing Your Tupperware

Always put a time slot in your Planner Perfect to get organization accomplished. In your goal section for this month and maybe in the next, write a header such as *Organize 2011* and write out all you want to clean out and organize. Plan out your week(s) and carve a spot in some days to do it. This way, it eliminates feeling stressed or overwhelmed, and leaves you in control.

Organize 2011…Organizing Your Tupperware

Nothing is worse than tupperware unorganized. Here is a tip that will keep it neat and tidy and where you can easily find it.

Keeping it in a cupboard, rather than a drawer insures your lids don’t fall behind it and it keeps all your tupperware more organized.

Put all of your containers tucked inside each other and on a shelf like you see here. Your tupperware cupboard makes a great place to put your coffee to-go mugs and the lids can fit with the other container lids.

Use a larger tupperware to hold all the tops to your containers (making sure that  you purge the lids that have lost their container).

Way in the back I used another large container to hold any plastic plates I have.

There you have it…simple, yet organized. If you have any great tupperware tips, leave a comment below. We all can benefit from each others tips!

Happy organizing room-by-room!

WOW! Thank you! I just found this blog (through Tatertots and Jello) and now I can;t wait to read on!
This post is particularly helpful as my tupperware and plastic container collection is growing by the day. With our families focus on doing what is best for the environment, my husband and two grown sons have taken to bring lunch to work each day! GREAT for the environment, chaos for my cabinets!
Thank you so much for your ideas for tackling the choas and how to bring it back into control.

Now, I just need to figure out how to get my own Perfect Planner set up!

Hopped over from Tatertots! I once went to a Tupperware party and the hostess asked what was our biggest storage problem, I turned to my friend and say, "Tupperware!" I hate storing the stuff and why is it that the lids are always missing and the ones I have fit nothing. I like the new stacking gladware. But still, the lids always come up missing. OH, yeah, I remember that book, THE BORROWERS, that's where they all are. They must have built a mansion with my lids by now!

Hi! Just found you through Tatertots and Jello.
I also use the Tupperware idea! My tip is to keep things like koolaid in a bin on the front of the shelf with thimgs that are alike. (Koolaid would go on the shelf with juice or beverages.)This way the it stays in one place instead of falling out of the cupboard or getting lost behind cans of juice or whatever.
Really enjoy your site and would love to win the Planner. It would help me organize my house and life. Thank you so much. Pam (pam dot brouillard at yahoo dot com)

Thanks, Pam…great idea. I have a basket that holds small items like that and pudding, jello etc…that way it does have its own spot. Glad to meet you!

I organized my Tupperware cupboard and basically used the same logic. I used my larger Tupperware container to hold all of my lids…. however the other day I needed my large container to hold the cookies I baked for co-workers and now all the lids are laying at the bottom of the cabinet again…. I gotta find something better.
