Writing down our goals is not just a nice thing to do for some of us…it’s a must for personal growth and for Success God’s Way, and I will show you why.
Taken from the book, Success God’s Way, Charles Stanley writes,
“The Lord places great value on our writing down the things that He speaks to our hearts or that He challenges us to do.
The prophet Jeremiah was told on several occasions to write down the words of the Lord. In Jeremiah 30:2, we read,
‘Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.”
In Jeremiah 36:2, the Lord was even more direct:
‘Take a scroll of a book and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you.’
The Lord told the prophet Habakkuk:
Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
Charles Stanley continues to write,
“It is not enough for you to daydream in your thought life about the things you’d like to have as goals. A goal must ultimately be a statement of intention.”
