As mommies it is hard to not be too consumed with our children and still have the time for ourselves. And if you are a homeschooling mother like me… then you know exactly what I’m talking about! All the more reason to plan for your time. If I don’t get into my life planner and write-out my plan for my weeks and months, you can just forget it! There is too much to do and very little time. And if you don’t plan for your “mommy” time, like I have done, trying to fit it in whenever I think time allows, creates other things getting neglected.
How do you mommies find the time to fit your hobbies and other interests into your daily life? I’d love to hear it!

Since July 1st (2010), I've been working on getting up around 5 o'clock in the morning to find time for myself. It's been a bit tough to wake up and stay awake. The problem I've had is that my baby (7 months old) sleeps in the bed with me and when she notices me not there, she will cry out for me. So I am up and down more than I like, but I've noticed getting up earlier has given me more time for me and more time to get other things done during the day. Every day seems longer when you start early.

I also have that same deal. I sleep with my 2 yr. old and he also notices if I'm not there. But, this will pass (and I'll be sad in a way when it does) and just use any time I can get. I think getting up earlier is a great way to get some of our time in…thanks for posting!
